Has anyone won or know of someone who has won a WS title as a replacement owner? Just curious.

I've definitely seen an owner take over a team and win a title in his first season, but if you're talking about a mid-season replacement, I'd be curious to know if this has ever happened as well.

Both of my WS wins were as mid or early season replacements.
I'm not sure that reflects badly or poorly upon my skill, but there you go.

I watched a team that was abandoned late in the season but before the playoffs started win the WS...I think maybe it was in Addicted Users?

My sister (Tiskingmoon) won the WS in the Ron Cey league as a replacement owner with Little Rock.

I'v seen it they beat me in the WS after taking over at like the 60 game mark. The team wasn't playing well when the new owner took over. He got them in WC position and then ran through the playoffs.
