Go my first ranked team and have a question. Sitting at #24 with RPI of 66 and weak SOS. Assuming I receive a tourney bid, will the seed reflect my current ranking, or the RPI which appears weak. If they go by ranking, it appears I might receive a high bid, perhaps a 5 seed. With RPI, might not even make it the tourney.

It is loosely based on RPI, although the excellent W-L record will probably bump you up a few lines.

So if I win out, am I looking at a very low seed?

I would say so. You're not really doing yourself any favors by scheduling Sim teams in the non-conference part of your schedule though. They almost always kill your RPI/SOS unless you're in a conference with enough strong teams to counter that.

The problem, as I see it, is that you end up putting yourself in a position where you almost HAVE to win your CT to get a bid. And even in doing that, your RPI is gonna be bad enough that you'll end up with a poor seed in the NT.
