So I'm down to 3 teams (was originally going to be just 2, but I'm quite entertained by the 1 I was going to drop.)

Last night, I got a great glimpse of the pathetic logic of HD. 1 little story from each world.

1.) Tark NT Game - R. Garey, working with superior Ath/Spd/Per, manages to go 0/8 from the floor against 73 D / 54 D rated defenders.

1a.) A UNC team with 2 Sr., 2 Jr., gets slaughtered by EEs... as both Jr. and a So. disappear. (actually expected this)

2.) Knight - UC - C. Mortimer, with 95 Spd, 94 Per, 94 BH, manages a sensations 0/7 from behind the arc.... against a -5.

3.) Penn St - Big 10 - All-Conference Awards - H. Mills leading the conference in scoring @ 18.9ppg, with the next closest scorer at 14.3ppg, doesn't win Player of the Year. Doesn't make the First Team.... or the Second... or the THIRD!

Really Seble? Really?

This engine has been laughable for over a year (hi potential, how are you?), but let's have some fun with this.

Which of these 3 would frustrate you the most?

Oh so that's what you were meaning! ;) Yeah that is a miss there for the Awards. (At least they don't really mean ****?)

Haha, yeah... I saw Rogers get 1st team and just assumed the other. I actually reopened the file thinking he might have gotten POY... boy was I shocked.

brutal indeed. i assume the NT loss would hurt me the most followed by the EEs.

I think you got the order right, 1, 1a, 2, 3. You should've said that the -5 was also a 2-3 zone. That's ridiculous.

Honestly, I don't think anything that a single player does in a single game can really be construed as being that ridiculous.

That said, I would definitely agree with the notion (as would your friend seble) that matchups don't matter nearly enough in the current engine.

The most truly ridiculous one (although obviously by far the least impactful) is the leading scoring in the Big Ten on a NT team not making 1/2/3 team all conference. That seems like a glitch in the matrix.

i'm with dalt here. 1 and 3 shouldn't even be up there. You can throw a guy on the practice floor with no defenders and he *could* go 0 for 7.

The other two are known issues of HD. and need to be addressed.

the only one that would get my blood boiling is 1a. EE's are probably one of the biggest problems (if not THE biggest problem) of the game. Thank goodness i suck and dont have to deal with that issue!

Perhaps it was the escort i sent to Mortimer's room the night before the game that made him struggle from the floor.

on the other hand, the defender was very quick (99 spd, 99 def), so maybe he closed the gap and made Mortimer hurry his shots
