Relative Value of Recruiting Efforts Topic

Does anyone have any basis for determining the RELATIVE value of a CV, HV or Scouting trip? For instance, if a scouting trip is $300, a HV $600 and a CV $900, is the recruiting effort for a CV equal to 3 scouting trips? A home visit worth 2 scouting trips?

No, its not even close, its closer to 1/10 th of the value of a hv or likely even less.

A long time ago, admin stated that if you don't consider distance, then the recruiting tools have the same value/money.

My interpretation of this is that if you look at a recruit 10 miles away from you, the costs of the various options give you a pretty good idea of the relative value of each.

The costs change at different rates depending on distance though, so some tools may give more value then others at a certain distance.

When I first started playing HD a few years ago, a scouting trip plus a home visit cost exactly the same as one campus visit. Not sure what to read into that, just thought it was interesting.

Jet - I asked myself this question yesterday as I was battling for a recruit. If I had enough money for 8 HV's and 4 CV's, was that the best way to use it? Or should I go 6 HV's and 5 CV's? Or 4 and 6? I don't know if what zhawks is saying is true. I don't know if it's a known fact. I usually recruit with the assumption that 2 HV's = 1 CV. I have no idea what scouting trips are worth, so I rarely use them.
