Has anyone else noticed their depth charts being ignored by the sim engine?

Played Tufts the other night and had 4 subs come into the game with 1:57 remaining. My starting SG (Rushing) who is only listed at SG1 stayed in the game. When the subs come in, Dent (listed at SF2 and SG3) goes in at SG and my starting SG slides over to SF where he isn't even listed. The guy is a 14 ATH/1 RB, so he's not someone I'd want playing SF.

Any ideas?

the engine will - no matter what you do - at some point decide that it is a blowout and sub

i have no problem with the subs the engine put in, i just don't know why Dent didn't go to SF since he's listed as SF2. i assumed the engine would look at who's on the court and slot the guys according to my depth chart.

In a blowout situation, the engine looks from the bottom up on your depth charts to determine who'll play where in garbage time. It's quirky like that, and usually I'd prefer that it looked from second on down
