66-24 overall, 41-7 conference, 2 conference titles, 1 conference tournament title, 3 NT bids, 1-3 record. 43, 40, 51 RPI respectively for the 3 season. Both schools A- prestige.

A+ rep C loyalty

a D3 after one season to go to another D3, and I spent 2 seasons at the second school. So I will be heading into my fourth season in Phelan. I applied for D2 jobs last year but got the "you're using us as a stepping stone excuse", even for Sim AI schools.

This year, I applied for a B+ prestige D2 job that wasn't renewed already, and already got the stepping stone excuse again. The jobs opened at 2 am cst last night, I applied at 2:05 am and got rejected by 4 am, lol.

Do I have to stay in D3 another season, or should I just shoot for a lower level D2 school?

you can usually move up to a low d2 after one season, even if you dont make the postseason. high d2, you might be competing with people with better resumes

resume isn't what keeps you out of d2, its loyalty. you might have to wait another season. i think they really screw people over who switch d3 schools, new coaches should be allowed to do so with no penalty. anyway, stick it out in d3 for one more season, and you should be ok. two at the absolute most, but i think 1 is enough...

Its your low loyalty that is killing you. Probably 1 more year. Could always try to aim lower.

What does simmy simpkins say? If it don't say qualified or step backwards, you don't get the job usually.

The job I applied for said qualified. C's and lower are Steps Backwards.. I'll probably just wait another season

And you didn't get it? Then its 100% loyalty related.
