As I search for point guards for my next season, I notice a few who have good speed but low ath. I am at Div.II, what is your experience with such players?

65 or over for a Freshman.

I would take the speed for a pure point guard, as long as he also had passing and or Ball handling. If I wanted him to also be a scorer, I would want there to be more ATH.

i will take a 90 spd 20 ath guy (maximum ratings) without blinking. spd >>> ath for guards. i play press though, i imagine the tradeoff is less severe for the other defenses.

Speed trumps with any point guard playing any offense.
