As for bullpen setup, if my best RP has longer innings capabilities, I'll sometimes use him as Closer A with a short TPC but a long MPC and an early innings avail. I then run a Closer B, often a short sta/dur guy with good stuff, set him for 9th inning avail, and keep 1 fewer Setup man.
Example: This season in Roy Hobbs I'm going to use
Damion Sullivan as ClA with a 7th inning avail and a 20/45 PC. On days when he's at 100% and the score is close, he should take the ball from the starter and finish the game or pitch until the score is no longer close. The rest of the 'pen is basically for days he's not 100%/games that aren't close/games where the starter doesn't go 6 innings. I'm probably going to roll with
Mitchell Waters (and his sweet Rollie Fingers 'stache) in the ClB roll, with only 2 setup men.
