Just wondering how much impact an A+ prestige will have in pulling down players from D1.

What is the cutoff for ratings/rankings that you coaches have normally seen?

It varies season to season.

Every year is different and the distance and position plays a part as well

I've seen coaches pull down 120-130 ranked players with A+, but not very often. 140-160ish is easier.

Highest I've gotten is the low 130s for a PF. I've seen as high as the 110th C? signed. That was actually done by Cyric. I would htink as of late either Cyric or Billy_G has signed the highest ranked player because I can't imagine many people having a higher A+ then those two had at their peak.

I got the 102nd guard. I had the 92rd SF, but signing him? Not a chance. Highest big I could touch was the 134th

Agree with everybody so far. Low 140 - low 160 is the range I go for, depending on position and distance.

From my experience, SF's and SG's are pretty easy to pull down. PG's and PF's aren't as easy. C's are the toughest.

I signed the #85 sf 108 pf that i can remember I managed 2 sign 2 one star guys but that was real rare to find a 1 star that would think about a d2 school

I suspect a lot of these guys ranked in the Top 100 of their position were transfers. Am I wrong?

I only ask because if they're all transfers, ard may be shooting at guys ranked that high that aren't really attainable.

I don't believe transfers have a ranking, do they?

None of the guys i recruited were transfers

cyric - good to know. I thought I was recruiting guys from well into DI with 120-130ish rankings, but then again, I've never had the kind of A+ prestige you likely did at Wilmington.

no one recruits as high as some of the ones mentioned above, but as a whole, that seemed pretty good to me.
