I have 2 all-star caliber players on the 60-DL as we're ready to roll into the offseason. Both have been on the DL for more than 60 days so are eligible to be removed. But neither has recovered from their injury, one has 70+ days to go and one 200+ days to go, which will carry over into next season. Are there any advantages to either removing the players from the DL before rollover or leaving them on the DL during rollover? E.g., will being on the DL prevent development in categories that typically increase in the offseason?
