Has anyone else noticed tweaks to the prestige formula? My Middlebury team (Smith) was just recently knocked from a longtime A+ down to an A after a Sweet 16 run. My last five seasons were...

20-11 (Sweet 16)

21-10 (2nd Round)

29-6 (NT Championship Game)

24-8 (Elite 8)

23-6 (NT 1st Round)

It seesm to me that perhaps more weight is being put on wins and less on Tournament results? There are other teams with far inferior tournament success over the last four years than me, but with higher win totals in the last couple years who are now A+. Also, in the past there were usually 8-10 teams in D-3 that had A+ prestige. This year there's 14.

Anyone notice something's changed or am I missing some reason for my demotion?

That el;ite eight has been being a smaller and smaller part of your resume in the four year window, and if you were a borderline A+ to begin with, you could just by that attrition have ended up just on the other side of A+ and slipped into a high A.

I had the same thing happen to me at Winona st a few seasons back. I went from a string of a couple s16s and elite 8s and my prestige dropped from an A to an A- after a sweet 16, but a 10+ loss season and then from the A- to a B+ after a second round exit with a top 5 sos, but a 10 loss season. I don't agree with it, but I guess they have to set lines somewhere.

There are other components to prestige as well. Conference championships, CT wins and being ranked at the end of the year all help/hurt.

And you have not won your conference or your CT or been ranked at the end of the year in the last 2 seasons, so that would help explain it too i think.

your weighted RPI is also in the 30 range for the past four seasons.

Yeah and that is good, but not A+ level.
