Can this guy be with such a low rating in athleticism. Will he be a good scorer, shot blocker or rebounder against the best competition? This is division II and he is a center to be clear.

High potential in rebounding, defense and shot blocking. Stamina as well.

What O. and D. do you run?

I've recruited a similar player in d2. He was ranked in the 190 range and dropped down from d1. I never had him on my wish list, but needed a big man in a bad way. I've kept asking myself how can this guy be anygood, but he keeps producing for me. I refuse to start him, but last year as a soph, he shot 46%, 3.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and 1.1 bpg in 16 mpg. That's with reb, lp, sb in the 90s and only 18 ath, against the 2nd ranked conf in Allen last season.

My offense is triangle and man defense.

average pot in ATH should go to 25ish, right? By senior yr (or before) he should be 99 REB, 99 DEF, 90 ish BLK with STA in the 80s. LP 75 ish, SPD 55ish, with 60 PAS to boot. I know the ATH is low, but am I so out of touch with evaluating talent when I believe he will be a pretty good D2 center? I realize the ATH will limit his effectiveness, but those 99s should help offset that, shouldn't they?

That's a player at DII, especially if you monitor his match-ups he could be a solid performer for you.

Yeah he will be a put-back/junk point guy who can play ok defense and rebound pretty well.

I think Ath will limit his shot blocking and offense, but he should be fine.

I would not use him as one of your 3 primary scorers in the Triangle, but I think he would be a great complimentary player.
