Getting drafted... Topic

If a player makes the d1 national team does it generally mean he is going to get drafted? How about as an honorable mention?

If the player is an underclassman does it generally mean he is going pro early? I understand there are other factors involved with ees, but as a general question, If I have a player on the national 3rd team or an hm, is he probably going pro early or as asenior, getting drafted?

There may be a small correlation, but not a really significant one. The #1 focus for AA teams is stats, while the #1 focus for the draft is ratings. Of course it's not uncommon for a guy to have both, but the simple act of making the team does not exponentially increase his chances.

EE's especially are ratings-based, so that's (by far) what you should look at. Team success is next, and then things like player personality and if he had a high scoring avg. If the kid makes the AA team and has early entry-caliber ratings, I'd be worried.

Thx, Dalter.

Next question is in Crum, the first wave of ee players announced yesterday. A total of 14 players did so (at least in the Crum national news). In general, about 20-25 players usually go ee each year. Is there another wave of surprise ee players that are taken in the draft or that declare later?

Also, what are "early-entry caliber ratings" I assume that is 95 plus in the position cores and in defense. Could someone give me some general guidelines for each position?
