My depauw team in smith.. Is better than what a 0-4 record shows but I can seem to find right direction they are young team 2 JR's the rest are soph and freashmen. Not looking for trade secreats just some advice on how I can hopefully get playing in right direction. Thanks.smj

the only thing you can do with a young team is wait until their Off/Def IQs come up or increase practice minutes in O/D and hope that's enough to sneak through and win your conference tourney.

Also- look at the teams you've lost to- two 4-0 teams, one team with A prestige.

My $.02 from an average at best coach- you can't have as many guys as you do with DE ratings below 30 in man to man. Also on D sets- you are running a combo D- Press/Man, and your press IQs are low- that will hurt a bit on the defensive end.

This is purely my opinion, and as I said, I'm average- I would give Null PT at the point. He's your best passer as a Freshman, second in BH, and assuming that he has decent potentials, you could have him as a solid player off the bench by conference season.

Thanks just seems they played better last season so I guess I was expecting more lol. yes some of those non conference teams are good teams so I should have a high SOS not that will help. Seems my game planning is not what I want I tried to slow down when other teams play slow but it doesn't seem to respond quick enough or not at all :/ thanks for the help I will continue to explore and hopefully won't be a winless season.

Another quick question if you don't mind. I signed a new recruit with "great upside." Which helps him develop that upside more, minutes or starts? Thanks.

tar - your biggest problem, aside from the fact that your team is young and has low IQs, is that you lack rebounding. Nothing you can do about that this season except play a - defense. And playing Smith at SG is killing you with turnovers. I would take Crafton out of the starting lineup, move Smith to SF and play Mickelson at 1 and Clark at 2. Just my two cents.
