scouting with leftover money Topic

Is it possible to use money you have over after recruiting season ends to purchase the future stars scouting service once you get the message that the "new crop" of recruits is available? I haven't seen anyone ask this before. That new crop of recruits is the same crop that you will have to recruit from at the start of the next season, right?

It just seems like you would get more bang for your buck if you spent it on scouting during the year (maybe scouting some states beyond your normal recruiting area) than getting 1/4 of it back at the start of the next recruiting year. First I need to know if my logic is sound or if this is something that can not be done and would be a waste of money.

Well, when you get that message that the new crop of recruits is available your over recruiting money is cut to the 1/4 at the exact same time, so you already are using your next season recruiting carryover cash.

You can purchased FSS but like thethrill said you will already be at 25% of your money.

Your logic is pretty sound though, I usually search for recruits, get a list going and buy as many states as I can afford usually 1 or 2 that show up multiple times on my list.

That is the best time to scout and buy FSS if you have over money, it gives you a lot of time to look through targets and find guys with high potential in key areas.
