Has anyone done an analysis of which players tend to foul more? I always thought that the ones with poor D IQ or slow players would be the ones that guard with their hands and not their legs. Any thoughts?

It also seems that there are very few players that foul out before fouling intentionally begins. I play my guys More Aggressive and they never foul out.

I have found a couple of situations where my players pick up more fouls:

The player I had with the most foul trouble was a point guard with low ATH, high SPD and high defense.

I think the sub pattern can limit foul trouble. I've noticed that my high ATH scorer who is high in both PER and LP draws a pot full of fouls. You may be lucky and playing teams that don't draw many fouls.

rsvphr, you have only had one player foul out in 8 games, and he played 37 minutes. That seems less than what you see in real games.

I had 4 guys foul out last night. First time in a long time that has happened. I had the setting at "normal" on fouls. It was against a FB offense with uptempo setting (by me and him). Besides this instance, I almost never have players foul out. I think a non 3 point shooting uptempo game will increase fouls IMO. I thought 2-3 zone would have less fouls but it didn't help me last night!

Your 4 guys fouled out in the last 1:30 when you were intentionally fouling. One of them only had 2 fouls to that point. That seems to be the only time players foul out.
