Posting this here in hopes of getting a few simleague players to give HBD a shot. A brand new world is starting up as soon as we get a few more. WIS has a requirement that we get at least 8 first time owners.

IF you like HD, youll love HBD. It is way more in-depth than HD. You get to run all levels of your franchise, focus on winning now or build for the future. Any questions, ask them in the linked thread.

INCENTIVES!

So, rookies, in all divisions except for NL South:

IF I'm sufficiently convinced you're not a sneaky alias...For the 1st 5 seasons, I will provide a $10 GC for each playoff appearance your team makes. If you win a WS in the first 5 seasons, I will provide a $50 GC (capped at 1).

NL South

the payment will be $20 bottle of wine for playoffs....$50 bottle of wine for world series.

If it is determined beyond a reasonable doubt that a newb is an alias, they will not be eligible for the payout--and may be booted from the world if the evidence is irrefutable.

Just as a matter of interest, do you have a specific $50 bottle of wine in mind?

actually the NL south is now full. 2 spots . THE GC incentive applies to the remaining 2 openings.

Have always been thinking about trying HBD. Send me some info and I might fill one of those remaining spots.

The incentives being offered suck! (just joking) However, HBD is a great game and anyone who likes baseball should give it a try. It is a very complex game that allows you a lot of control over game play and how you develop your franchise - a very nice change of pace from the RNG feel of HD.

Still looking for a couple players with NO HBD experience. Have two potential no shows. If they dont sign up by early tomorrow, I will be sending out more invites.
