I know that injuries are supposed to be random and can come at anytime, but I was wondering if there might be a correlation to Tempo and +/- that might cause injuries to happen more frequently.

For example in my game last night a guy on the other team got hurt (he took a knee to the thigh, he has a DU of 73) they were playing Uptempo and -5. This guy has been hurt 5 times so far this season, and this coach has had several other players hurt this season as well. So, I was wondering if there might be some correlation.

Just looking to get others thoughts. I am going to do some more research on this guys teams to find out what tempo and +/- he was playing when they got hurt.

Injuries are random. That being said, once a guy is injured, he has a chance of becoming re-injured. In other words, it is completely random when he is 100%. If he is under 100%, then the chances of him getting injured again is increased. That is, if I understand it correctly.

I was under the impression that fatigue increased injury potetntial-tired players were at higher risk. Am I right?

yes, but to what degree at high risk is a bit unknown. Running kids at FF is the optimal choice from this perspective alone, all other factors constant.

I believe this to be true, although I have no way to prove it.

When an integral guy on your team gets injured, is there any rough rule of thumb for what health level it's probably OK to put him back in the lineup? In my case, it's a guy with 53 durability, so I know I probably shouldn't chance it...

I never play them until they are 80% healthy. Then, their playing time depends on the strength of the backup
