Do we know for certain what factors into the evaluation of job safety? Is it just RPI and NT appearances and NT wins or can PIT appearances also extend your job span? For example, if a coach consistently gets 20 wins and conference championships but doesn't make the PIT or NT, will he be in jeopardy as quickly as someone who didn't get 20 wins but consistently made the PIT? Just looking for some concrete measures.
I'm talking about the recent history with Seble here, I understand in the older days it sometimes took coaches way too long to be fired.
