I'm adding worlds as they complete seasons, dumbass. Nothing random about it.

Maybe, in addition to being stupid, you're useless.

Care to guess which two world will be added next?

If you said "7mickeymantle7 and Buckner", you'd be right. Would you like to guess which world is after those two?

I think you skipped a bunch of worlds that may have started before the update, but whose opening day occured after it.

Ruth, the first world included, started FA signings the day of the update. I thought that was the best date as owners could build teams with the update in mind.

Of course, it may have been better to check worlds that started 12/1 and later. That would be 4 weeks after the complaining/reacting to the actual results started.

Bump for Arlen!

To one of your earlier post, in regards to what happens to the non-home runs. A ticket from awhile ago the response was basically:

There would be a chance that the HR would become an XTRA base hit, single or out. Just a chance.

I seemed to lose average on my high power hitters more than anything. Dlbs and Triples seemed to stay steady.

Of course this was before the change.

Bump for bighead.

As you can see, the update had everything but hits and doubles pretty much in line with MLB. Also, as you can see, there wasn't a lot of congratulating WifS on "realism".

i remember...i tried in a few instances to argue in favor of the update, but the majority wanted more HRs (i don't understand it myself, but i'm sure they feel the same about my opinion), i can deal with that...but when people argue that unrealistic HR rates are completely the fault of the owners, i felt the need to point out that isn't completely true...i wish i hadn't, because i had no intention to be up this late

Is it possible (or likely) that a player can hit 35-45 HR and bat .230-.240?

There have been real-world sluggers who fall into this category. Adam Dunn is the first current real-world player that comes to mind.

Or is it now only possible for higher average hitter to hit 35+ HR?

If good eye, poor contact, high power is a useless combination, it seems things have moved from one unrealistic simulation (super hitters) to another (no lower average sluggers).

About what should these ratings produce?
80-90 Eye
40-50 vRHP and vLHP
90-95 Power
20-30 Contact.

a player i dont want...probably 35-40 bombs...less than 100 rbi...a .230 average...and a terrible obp (probably barely pushing .300)...oh ya...and 140+ punchouts...

a lineup with 30 hr power but high average/obp is much more productive than these all or nothing power guys...
