How does HD determine which players will earn the designation of being a Type A Free Agent? Is it based upon previous seasons production or overall rating?

Im not saying it's ethical but couldn't an owner change a players primary position right before they become a FA in order to boost that players potential of becoming a type A FA? Maybe a 76 overall ranked SS wouldn't be a type A SS but would be a type A 1B say.

Can't be done, WIS uses the fielding ratings to rank FA based on where the sim AI would play them.

This is what I've been told at least
