Allen and/or Smith and new engine Topic

Allen accepts new coaches on 5/12 ... and Smith on 5/13.

So, assuming they roll in the updates on time, will one or both of these worlds start with the updates installed?

That's why I grabbed a program in Smith where I wouldn't have to do much recruiting this season.

with the exception of the top tier recruits, the newer guys look to be lower rated than the previous recruits. Maybe somewhere around 40-50 points.

It may be wise to grab an open team with a lot of open scholarships before the new guys show up.

yup, you want players who are before nuHD populated the recruits with guys who start out a notch lower by all reports

Hmmm .... so, it seems you can reserve a team and that option is no longer available in Allen/Smith. I guess that means all the SIM teams are taken/reserved. I did not know you could reserve a team before team sign-ups started.

Are there normally teams available when new signups start too or am I going to have to reserve a team in another world?

Allen is in the process of letting the existing coaches get the first shot at job openings.

Recruiting starts on Thursday so I'm guessing the new coaches will be able to apply starting on Wednesday or Thursday. There will probably be in the area of 150-200 D3 openings.

Only new coaches only can reserve a DIII team. Once the previous season ends, I don't think it's allowed

If you a world at the DII level, and want to return, you can reserve a DII team. Again, it needs to be done before the season has ended.

There should be teams available after the current coaches have moved to new schools.
