New player here.. I am just wondering how much money I should save for my draft?

I have the 3rd overall pick, the 26th, and the 50th overall pick. My current budget is $21 million for prospects.

i would budget about $10 - $12 million for the draft

look at the draft history in your world and others to get a sense of how much each slot goes for.

$21 million is WAY to high, unless you are also looking to sign international prospects too.

As suggested, $10-$12 million should be enough for draft picks only

Your three picks will be around 6m Beyond that, I'd only sign pitchers with BL potential and ALL position players. Fill out your pitching staffs with training camp pitchers who don't require bonuses. I'd be really surprised if you needed more than 7m(assuming you don't draft any "may sign if the deal is right" players with your first 3). If you don't intend to chase IFA, anything over 8m is a waste.

Agreed, 10-12m is too much unless you plan to take a stab at a signability risk, and in some cases 10m might not even be enough, depending on the demands.
