$$ spent per recruit Topic

Hey guys, so it has been awhile since I have played Hoops Dynasty and I was looking for some insight. I have a team now in Tarkanian DII and I was wondering what is the average amount of money to spend on a recruit? I would hate to put myself in a hole 2 days into recruiting because I spent too much. Any other tips would be grateful. Thanks!!

Well it depends on the recruit, how your running your team, what kind of budget you have to start with, and how many schollies you have to fill.

I don't think there is a set amount to spend, depends on the coach and his style.

My spending on average in DIII is around 2k - $2,500, and I would say in DII would be around $3,500 - $4,500 on average. Although I have signed guys for less, and more just depends on the recruit, and if your battling anyone.

Hope this helps and I am sure the other great coaches out there will chime in.

Well, I guess you get 5k per guy in D2, so a noncontested player maybe $2000 and in a battle, $5-$20k?

Why would you spend more than the minimum needed to sign a guy?

130-12k is the range depending on the situation, distance and player.

Eh? How can anyone know what the minimum may or may not be?

you should be concentrating on pulling down D 1 players mostly anyway, preferably ones withing 260 miles or so. 10-20 evals usually does the trick if they've given you the backup message.
