There are all kinds of theme leagues that limit or eliminate the use of great players. I have a blacklist league entering its seventh season, with 440 players blacklisted so far and more added each season, though I'm starting to doubt that it will fill this time around.

Whatever kind of league you want to do, you're unlikely to get 24 owners to sign up until you've played in t least a handful of live leagues.
