I just lost a game in Knight against a team that plays zone and decided to play man against me. They have nobody who is an exceptional defender and nobody over a B- (and that's only one guy) in m2m. I ran slowdown and I shot 45% and turned the ball over 17 times. I should have won, but I blame myself for the loss for not gameplanning. My defense was wrong so I gave up a lot of points. I should have realized he was playing man and set distro accordingly. I didn't. My beef is not with losing, it's how good his defense was with such bad IQs. *End of rant* Explanations? I can't think clearly about it: http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/GameResults/BoxScore.aspx?gid=5758430

The only thing I can say is his PG/SG/SF did actually have ok Man IQs, and that was where your shots come from. Weird his sucky PG shot so well.

i would say the reason you lost that game was your gameplan of going -5 and slowdown against him. you should have run something more along the lines of 0 and uptempo against him. doing that would have given you more chances to score as you had the better team.

A guy can get away with poor IQs on a game to game basis but cannot have consistency without good IQs so it could have just been an off day for you and a great one for him as well.
