El Cardinal, actually - Stanford is the Cardinal (the color,) not the Cardinals (the bird.

So if the mascot is the color "the Cardinal" why is a green tree their mascot?

Here's a quick explanation: the nickname is the Cardinal 'cause they used to be the Indians; there IS no official mascot. The Tree is just part of the Leland Stanford Jr. University Marching Band... the costume is unofficial.

I'm not a Stanford alum but I know a few - Gotta love that Stanford Band for being a) ON THE FIELD!!! THE STANFORD BAND IS ON THE FIELD!!! or b) not allowed in the State of Oregon or c) lots of other things.

We should get another free season in Allen because of all the delays we been getting. I started playing HD to see how the new game engine was played and we have yet to get a season game in and now they reset it to start exhibitions again. OMG just get it started.

better get it right - this was a good decision, once they decided that they needed a delay, better to do so now than make midseason fixes etc

Yeah I think we should get a free season in Allen also!
