I saw a 6'4 PF that had SG attributes across the board, and not bad for a shooting guard, but it definately struck me as odd. Anyone else seen similar ratings that seem...counterproductive for the listed position?

according to the transcript for the new engine release..there is no position penalty. you can play him at shooting guard if he has the skills. the listed position is meaningless

Sure. I havent bought next season yet, so I wonder what his potential would be. If he had high rebounding/LP it would be interesting to say the least. He would be a solid DIII SF easily if it was the case.

with his 54 work ethic and if he has a good gpa and depending on the phone call messages in order to gauge his potential or if he is likely to accept it .. a good red shirt candidate in order to get his speed up.

if the coach keeps saying ex..he beat up his girlfriends boyfriend, explosive personality, envious of others...less likely they will be happy to be a redshirt then a guy a coach says works with his teammates, etc

the messages are signs of what kind of person he is and gives the clues needed to make decisions

That has nothing to do with redshirting them. Some of those messages are dinosaurs from dilemmas others have more to do with amount of technical fouls they are likely to get.

If I'm reading his line in the correct order, are you telling me that a PF was generated with a 1 in Shot Blocking and a 1 in Low Post? Or have I got my order messed up? Because if I'm reading that right, that's pretty damn sorry for a big man.

It is correct. It is a power forward whose line belongs on a Shooting guard. Be interesting to see what his potential is in reb/lp/

honestly though, i would not touch that guy. horrible big man numbers and his speed is way too low for a guard. his ATH/PER/BH/PASS is ok for a guard but he will get abused in that position due to his lack of speed. I'd stay away from this guy....

Depends on his potential..at least to me. If I played him anywhere it would be SF and he would have to have high potential in both reb/spd but I doubt he will fit the bill. Its just a weird recruit.
