I have a team in Phelan and signings just started and i got 4 players green with face to face and scholarships on the table and none signed. I got a message from them all saying they love my school but need more time. Does this happen often? Kind of screwy if you ask me.

Signing period doesn't start until 48 hours after recruiting begins.

Signings started at 8:01 et today.

You just haven't put enough effort into them as of yet. So long as nobody else jumps on them they will eventually sign with you. If you want to increase your chances you could spend a little more on each and see if they sign at 11.

Have they listed you as 'considering'? They'll usually consider you for one cycle before signing. If they're not yet considering you, then scotty is right. You need to spend more money

Get use to reading 'green' - it means being considered. They won't sign until signings start. Read on the page it will say when the period begins. Once that happens, if they are considering you and only you and you have a 'ship on the table they will all sign.

In my experience, they usually don't sign the first cycle after you offer them a scholarship, if that was the case. Generally they sign the following cycle.

Yes they are consideringonly me and I got 2k plus on all 4 so if that isn't enough effort then I don't. Know what is.

The effort matters some but what matters more is what edw said. When did you offer? Depending on effort the player will sign 2-3 cycles after a schol is offered usually. I'm guessing you offered them between the 5 and 8 cycle.

Ok 3 signed and I got 2 more green. Must have been the late offering of the scholly. Thanks for the answers.

Ohhhh, is it a GD thing? That clears a lot of things up.

In GD, you can offer the scholly the cycle before signings start and they will sign on the next cycle if 'green' or 'considering only you'. That is not the case in HD.

Yeah, a lot of GD players came over here with the free season to test it. This is like the 3rd time I've read the 'green' thing.

It's annoying. Always makes me think they just set their priority color and think that means something about the recruit.
