Multiple Offenses Topic

Does it help to practice and play multiple offenses during the course of a season? I'm thinking of trying it just to have some options based on the team I'm playing against.
Or to gain maximum efficiency, do you have to focus entirely on one offense?

Thanks for the advice/opinions in advance :)

THe only time I have ever done it is with a team that was running fastbreak and allready had good IQ's there and better than awful in motion: Took practice in motion so I coudl run it as a slowdown option in late game winning situations.

Yeah, except for the type of situation a_in_the_b described you are normally better off sticking with one.

my one note would be if you have to recruit 7 or 8 players and the majority of them are better in something else than your returning guys are and better than the new guys are at the old offense, I might just start practicing the new offense and playing whatever made sense due to gameplanning...

very rare that it would be good to run more than one offense - the fastbreak example given is possible

especially with the recent changes, one might want two defenses more likely - say press and something

cant afford to spend the mins on two offenses
