When do they sign? Anywhere from next cycle to around a week or so. No hard and fast rules.

And how many should I expect to see? The more you budget in your IFA budget, the more you will see.

Keep in mind, the amount of quality IFAs can very from season to season. Some years you'll see a banner crop with a ton of great players, other years, you'll only see 1 or 2 high end players with a few more major league filler types. Moral of the story: patience can be a virtue, but sometimes haste is the best action and you'll never know until the season ends.

In Spahn this year we've had THREE 92 OVR or higher IFAs sign ($15m in advanced scouting for me). One guy who signed for $25 million is probably the best IFA I've ever seen and he has a chance to be the best hitter in Spahn by the time he reaches the Majors.

I signed the first 92 Overall guy and at the time I signed him I thought he was the best IFA I've seen in that world in the last 8 seasons. Now, I'm pretty sure he's the 3rd best IFA from THIS YEAR. It's been absolutely crazy.
