For those of you about to quit......when potential came out, imperfectly as this current new engine has been, I quit in disgust. After three seasons away, I just couldn't stand not waking up in the morning and seeing SOME kind of score..perfect or not...and I rejoined. Potential seems to have been fixed (or I got use to it since I've been back). I believe this engine will be fixed also. There are a lot of people that want to make this work right. There are also a lot of people that just want to complain (as I did when potential came out).

I think I've learned that contributing to the game is more important that ********. Putting actual results out for people to see and study instead of just shooting an opinion off at the hip can only help the development of the game. ********, complaining, and not doing your homework before you throw an opinion out into the forums does nothing to improve the game experience.

You are mistaken in your basic assumption that I or anyone else for that matter is required to post something which will improve the game experience.

Just to play devil's advocate; if enough of us quit as opposed to remaining silent and simply taking it up the...and it starts affecting their bottom line...things will change...Im sorry but the way this new engine was put out is unacceptable to many of us and just as you are entitled to your opinion and to share it so are others...
believe me MMT, enough of us quit when potential came out until it was fixed....virtually all conferences except the Big 6 went from full humans to virtually all SIM's in a matter of a very few seasons. Unfortunately, as soon as the human coaches got more involved (when potential got fixed), the new engine came out and essentially, we are in the same situation as when potential came out.

BTW, I agree that the new engine was put out in an unacceptable way. I guess what I am trying to say is they (meaning WIS) fixed their potential error and there is a good chance they will fix this engine problem.

I respect what you are saying...I felt the same way when potential bombed. I suppose I'm am just pointing out that many of us returned after the potential fix. I think they will get the engine fixed also. It just may take some time.

BTW, the reason I quit during the implementation of potential was that I had a senior laden class. FRESHMAN with potential improved to the point that they were higher than the seniors I spent 4 years improving IN LESS 1/2 OF A SEASON. Now THAT was wack!

Am I to believe that the gameplan and a few points on player ratings causes a 64 point swing?
6/8/2010 1:54 PM
the problem is not that there was one or two huge point swings.,.. there have been a slew of them. i have had three rematces so far and they have all been huge point swings.

I have tried to tell them to look at this thread or to look at the results in the Big East Tark. They have ignored me so far.

I don't think they are ignoring you, I think they may be looking at things, to see if they can come up with a way to fix things.

I agree with alot in this thread, It was a **** poor implementation, and I hope they are working on fixing it, and getting it right, because I can see alot of the coaches leaving once their seasons are up, and that may happen sooner rather then later.

I just don't get how they can treat a product like this, as well as their paying customers, that have paid good dollar to help them sort out things, and point out their mistakes for them, I just dont get it.
