This morning in Pine Tar, where we are in spring training, the game failed to sim my AM game. Luckily it's just ST so it won't have a devestating effect on anything, but it'd still be nice if it simmed (I haven't gotten any response whatsoever to the ticket I sent in about 5 hours ago on the subject).

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? The game is still visible on my schedule, but it just got skipped right over and there is no result available, none of my players seem to have played, etc. I hope this is just a total fluke and not something that might actually happen during the regular season, where it would affect pitching matchups, records, and all kinds of other things.

Did your opponent have enough players to field a team?

I'm looking at his ML roster and there are 20 guys on it, and that's not including any minor leaguers on his Spring Training roster which one assumes would be at least somewhat numerous.

Would the game even allow a franchise to have too few players to field a team on their ML roster? In the minors you can't even make roster moves unless you maintain at least 20 players at given levels, and this team has made major league trades and free agent signings already this offseason.

I don't know prez, but I've seen this happen before (or maybe for minor league games) and it's the first thing I thought about. It's been a long while since I've since happen though.

I appreciate the help; hopefully WiS explains it if they respond to my ticket. I will say it's pretty unacceptable that they allowed the PM game to sim before dealing with this problem. If this happened during the regular season it would really screw things up if they let the next game sim before fixing the first game.

Huh. I wonder what made it get skipped.

I had my pitchers set for a 5/5 pc during ST and it would not sim the game. Something like that could have happened.
