What happens when you promise a start and you dont come through on it. For some reason I promised a start to a guy who has no business starting, but will end up getting pelenty of PT as a backup.

I'll take a rep hit I assume, but how much. I'm at A+ and have never upset any player for any reason.

At the end of the day, if there is a rep hit, what does that do? Will it cost me potential jobs for next season?

he may leave - if you dont start him at all darn good chance I think

he is gone, at least 50% of the time.

Thanks for those who responded with a helpful answer. I do appreciate it. If I lose that guy, its no biggie. He's only has 2 years to play anyway and I only picked him up to have some experience in my backcourt. If he goes, no sweat.

For the haters, I didn't realize this would become an opportunity to get bashed. Didn't think running an honest program = I don't deserve a job. I'm no All-Star poster or anything, but I don't think I deserve to be insulted for asking a question. I'm not claiming to be better than anyone or telling anyone they dont know what they are talking about. I'm simply trying to get an answer to a question that I didnt know. There are plenty of negative nancies out there you can pick on.

On that note, I'm not 1-26, I just got the USC job and havent even recruited yet. So insulting me for the job I've done at USC is a little silly.

why not give him the start at 9-14 minutes or so. the new engine is really good with the minutes settings

This is concerning my UMKC team. The two players involved are Miller and Patel. Miller is by far the better player and I'd prefer to start Miller rather than Patel.

is the starting bonus really that valuable..miller can still play 30 minutes..he has to sit sometime..9 minute backup or 9 minute starter..all relative and you don't have to deal with the other questions
