Heck, if I was Oklahoma, I think I'd balk at this deal simply because there's very little justification for Texas to be making 20 percent more than the Sooners, especially when you add the fact that the deal allows Texas to also set up its own network, further increasing revenue for the Longhorns by roughly $5 million/year after a 3-year setup period (per published reports).
I'll repeat something I mentioned on the previous page; the Big Ten is the only BCS conference that shares equally all the television revenue.
Florida has a regional contract with Fox/Sun Sports that pays them $100 over 10 years which they don't have to share with the other SEC schools. For Sun Sports that turns out to be about 12 cents per household per month.
