This guy has been a very effective LR and spot SP for me for a few years. He has great control(93) and very good pitches(87,72,62,50). GB/FB 85 & Vel 95. Dur 22, Sta 79. His splits, however, are mediocre(55,51).

How do you think he would handle a larger SP role?

I've seen worse pitchers pitch effective.

Nothing more than a mediocre SP4 or SP5. The splits are just too low.

I have found that pitchers with great control and great pitches don't need good splits to be effective. Anything over 50 splits seem to work.
