help with coaching (fg percentage) Topic

i seem to have recruiting and player development down pretty good, but it seems like i am horrible with game planning and what to do with the players. naismith d2 hawaii pacific the team i just left in d3 (theil) had a top 20 recruit class with me before i left there. that team showed alot of progress late inthe year in fg and 3pt percentages but after i left really shot up as far as percentages. Now with my new team again, it seems to be a big struggle as far as keeping my FG percentage up. that theil team didnt do anything in years and is 3-1 with just pretty much my players so i fee good about that, but now im looking to stay in d2 for a while and cant coach a team to shoot a good FG percent at all.

Honestly, that is not a good team yet, so you are going to struggle quite a bit.  You could maybe give Medved some more distro, but in a small sample size  he hasn't been great either AND he is a freshman with a low IQ, so I don't know if he would help your struggles too much.

I would honestly just get your young guys a lot of minutes and start taking those baby steps...

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I just don't think there is a "fix" to the team's offensive struggles.
