Loyalty Concern? Topic

Is the moving up process different than before? As an A- loyalty I am being told DI sciools are looking for someone more loyal. Granted I have been at DII school for only 4 years. I have made two PIT and one NT and if the agent said something like more successful or more expirence I could see it but loyalty?

I would think at least the D- programs would be interested.....????

The only change is that they have modified the code to tell you when you have a perceived loyalty issue or reputation issue.  Before, they just let you apply and get denied.  On the 6/16 Update they:

Improved the agent feedback on the job page with regards to loyalty and reputation requirements. You will now see clearly whether those areas will prevent you from getting a job.

If you were the AD of a D- team, would you hire a guy who keep moving on after 3-4 years?  What do you think he would do in Year 4 at your school when a B+ prestige school opens up?

You make a good point but having spent 1 yr at DIII and 4 at DII and turned around the program, it would be obvious the coach could leave after 4 years but the program would be much better off. Provided of course I could get similar results.

Wonder if anyone who has more NT success and the same or lower Loyalty has seen the same thing.

Guess it is at least 1 more year in DII Phelan. Was hoping for fast track to DI.....

I just made the move from DII to DI with an A- for loyalty.  I spent 5 yrs. at DIII and then 4 at DII where my team went to the PI championship game and then 2 years to the NT.  I was able to land a D- DI job

I think I was "qualified" for a lot of D1 jobs after 4 total years I believe (under this ID), certainly after 5, but that was in the NT every year and with a Final Four run. in there.

OK so it is more success based and the loyalty is a "cover." That is good to know and thanks for chiming in. Guess I have to make sure I have another good season...
