Transistion to press or man to man? Topic

I have to fill 7 scholarships this year and focusing on a guard heavy lineup. How do I exactly transition into changing my defense from zone to a press or man or both?

Well, if you were going to try to transition I woudl transition to a zone press, so you only have to learn ONE new defense rather than two. . .

I would get it over with, unless you think you have a team that will make the final 16 or so, which I doubt with such a young team. Make the whole transition, deal with the losses and you will get to where you want to be much quicker.

So would it be wise to go to a press/zone then? Is it really effective in the new engine? And what do I have to look out for?

I am running a press/zone on my caldwell team. I go straight press on my other teams which are recruiting now so we'll see how they do in the new engine. I am tempted to try just straight zone though. If you don't have the talent, I'd probably go zone.
