I'm trying to decide if I should recruit a guy with a WE of 5.  He has high numbers in A, SP, BH, P and Future Stars says he has high potential SP, DE, PE, but what are the chances of him reaching that potential with a 5 WE?  He a decent student with a 3.1 GPA so will that help?  If he has a good chance at reaching his potential then I would definitely take him but how do I know?

The only question is does he treat the ladies with respect?

It will be very very difficult.  How much will he play?  I bet he improves 3 points/yr and then loses 2 in the offseason

so you think I should forget about it?

Anything under 25 is pretty much going to just stay where he is. If you could play him 4 years at his current ratings maybe a point or two increase then go for it.

whoa whoa anything under 15 and they wont improve. I started at 22 but saw the same results from players as low as 16, i havent gone any lower than that tho

Basically you're looking at 10, 20, and 40. 40 and over they progress at their normal pace, it's just a matter of how fast. The higher the better. 20 to 40 they progress at about half pace. 10 to 20 at about 1/4 the pace and under 10, forget it. Just play it safe and take your best option with a 40 or higher Work Ethic.

This isn't true. There is a big difference between a 20 WE and a 5 WE. I've recruited plent of guys with between 15-20 WEs and they pretty much always max out or get close enough. I stay away from the single digit guys because of all the horror stories I've heard, but 15-20 he'll improve slowly but he won't be stagnant.

A guy with 15 WE will improve if you start him his whole career. The more he starts the more his WE will go up.
