I agree that it sounds like a fun idea, but I don't believe it would be easy to implement. But I don't know what it takes to sim games.

I think this would be fun.  Just intra-squad, not against other teams.  I also think it should be low on the priority list but again, would be fun to mess around with.

IRL, such intra-squad scrimmages are an essential tool to a coach.  We ought to have the same tool in HD.
