As the season progresses in Naismith, I am seeing more and more Freshman that did not show up during the recruiting period.  I attempted to recruit Power Forwards as I did not have any on my roster.  I just saw one that was is now a 567 and he was not on any of my searches.  My question is this, do some recruits not show up?

you are  a D+ DII team, higher prestige teams will see more recruits than you do (sort of).  All recruits are visible, but a top level DII recruit will be on your DI screen, while he is visibile to the A+ prestige DII teams (hope this makes sense the way I described it).

He probably isn't a FR. I doubt a 576 FR is showing up on a D+ div II team. It is most likely a juco player.

I think glen87 nailed it. It appears that onefastlook kept a listing of the freshman prospects that were available to him. Now as he is playing other teams, he is seeing that some of his opponent's freshmen were not on his list and he is questioning why. There are a couple of possibilities. As glen said, the better your prestige the more players you see. An A+ team may see 100+ more players than a D+ team. Also, they could be players that were listed at the higher level but were dropdowns or pulldowns..

Well they would not be "invisible" to him. They would just be listed as D2 recruits. There is no such thing as "invisible" recruits in HD. None that we are allowed to talk about anyway. I have said too much...
