This is a progressive league that begins with seasons 1968 and 1998. We are entering Season 11, 1978/2008.

Draft times will be 10AM ET to 10PM ET everyday. Only players that are WIS eligible for a certain draft are available. If you're unavailable for your draft time send proxies to other available owners, particularly owners drafting after you. If teams miss their draft times, picks can be made up anytime. If selections aren't made by the following draft day the commish has the right to make up these picks.

Drafts will be based on reverse order of standings after 120 games. 1-24, 1-24. Teams must have a minimum 30 wins at this point or will lose one draft position for every win below this plateau. Draft-order ties determined first by head-to-head (worse record picks first), then by away record.

Cap is $255M. No to AAA, WW and DH. Yes to trades including draft choices. Draft choices can only be traded one year ahead. If RL team changes park you must change park. Use RL team city name. Use any nickname.

Teams will post unlimited protected lists near the end of the season including up to 2 spots for injured players or those who miss WIS eligible seasons.

When we run out of players following the 2010 or 2011 season:
First-year 1950 players will be drafted as usual, worst-to-first, along with the 1979 or 1980 players. There will then be a random-order, snake-style draft of all other 1950 players. This will be to replace players after the 2010 or 2011 season, depending on when we get there.

These teams are currently in the AL, which has more live play. There are teams in the AL that play no live games, though.

why would there be teams in the AL that play no live games if it is live league?

Because the AL is the league in which owners who play live are placed, mostly anyway. Only about 8-10 owners play much in the way of live games. It is not a live league per se, but a league that allows live games without a limit other than those imposed by the transaction deadline.

Panzer Gen. is going to fill in for arvidjosef, so we need one to start drafting. This league has a unique chance to rebuild a few seasons down the road, when we run out of current seasons and drop back to 1950 to reload.
