Do coaches help you win games? Topic

Is coaching important for winning games at the major league level, or just for player development? If I have mostly 27 + age players on my major league roster, and no good prospects in my minors, should I invest the minimum in coaching?

I believe coaches will also help your vets maintain their skills.

Except for the ML bench coach. 

He takes over if the manager gets ejected. You'll only notice him if he screws something up though, so it might be more precise to say that he can help you lose games.
