Improved Draft Board Topic

This is something I had proposed to admin a while back but would love to see as it would make the draft set-up process soooo much easier.  I would like the ability to "control + click" on multiple names to drop them down my draft board.  It is a tedious process to drop 75-100 "bad" players down individually, I would love the ability to do multiple manual player adjustment at once.  Does anyone else think would help them with their draft board and the time it takes to prepare for the draft?

Thanks, Bryan

Thumbs up.

The formula function was a huge improvement. This is good too.

I want better prospects. the draft should net at least 2 ML players per team

My experience has been that the 1st & supplemental rounds usually yield likely starters while the 2nd & 3rd round picks are likely useful reserves.

I'd still rather see a draft closer to real life, where there are many more first round busts and many more "diamonds in the rough" from later rounds. There is no such thing as a Mike Piazza in this game, nor is there such a thing as a Bryan Bullington.

825 players, 50 worthwhile ML'ers.  Yikes.

In addition to the 'click and drag' which would be great, I'd like the rank window to stay open even after I click "OK".  That gets old having to constantly open the rank window.

Pick any year in the real MLB draft. Same yikes.

eg. 1990. 1489 players drafted. 212 got a whiff of the majors.

And by a whiff, I mean I included anyone that got in even 1 game.

I'm generally all for realism, but this would be detrimental to the game. One could make a case for having DITR players be more valuable than they currently are, but first-round busts would be a disaster. Owners with rebuilding teams who got two or three consecutive busts in the first-round would probably be justified in bailing on the league and spending their money elsewhere, leaving behind a team with no prospective ML stars in the system.

Or maybe an apply button.

But I do like to have the option of selecting multiple crap and pushing then down the draft board all at once.

825 players drafted and 50 wortwhile is 1 worthwhile mler per 16.5 picks...1489 players drafted and 212 major league players is 1 mler every 7 picks. bad example...

i know he said "worthwhile" as opposed to anyone touching the majors at any point. nevertheless, there could be a few more.

No. Disagree. There's plenty.

I've been here since the beginning.  I am tired of player gains being so utterly predictable.  So your scouts figure this 18-year-old shortstop will be a star.  Maybe they're right, and maybe he stalls out at AA.  Same with the pitcher you drafted 10th; he could become a rotation anchor.  That's the way it is in real life, and I would love to see it that way here.  Most frequent objections I've seen to this say owners would be upset when 1st round picks don't make the majors, etc.  I think the trade-off that you might get a later-round star would be worth that.  Think maybe you could ask the owners their opinions on this?  IMO DITR are almost useless.
