I'd like to see a report that shows the numbers of days out for each player injured (even after the palyer has recovered) during the current season, by team with team totals.

At the end of the season you could compare total days lost per team to budgeted amounts for Training and Medical, and the total team health rating from the Franchise Ranking Page.
