Dear Buffalo, All of Western New York, Southern Ontario and Canisius Golden Griffin Supporters Wherever You May Be This Morning;

As you know now, our former prized recruit, who grew up a short drive from the very region he snubbed this morning, is no longer considering the Canisius Golden Griffins.

This was announced with a several cycle, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating in a public access TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably in the history of simulated basketball games.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the athletic department and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Griffs have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. In fact, we have decided to keep the Tim Horton's in the food court as a way to lure future Canadian AND American recruits who will STAY loyal to the program.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS WILL WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘MARQUIS’ WINS ONE"
