More or less tourney upsets in the new engine? Topic

Just curious what's on across HD.

In Naismith there was a bracket where the #2, #3, and #4 seeds, all considerably higher rated(40+50 pts overall) and in in players/Spd/Ath and RPI all lost.

The other brackets played more or less to form.

I feel the upsets are about the same overall.  In the Naismith DIII tourney, 11 of the 28 double-digit seeds won. This is higher than average but, in the last Crum tournament, there were very few upsets.

Also, Naismith DIII has 3 undefeated teams in the NT, which  I've never seen  before. So the jury's out on upsets.

Smith (DII) had a few more then I'm used to and Crum (DI) may not have had alot but they had a #1 go down to a #16. I think the 16 had a losing record but I may be thinking of something in Smith.
