They are both RF/3B types....or superior LF'ers. I like #2's contact and eye....that's a very good combination. He will steal some bases.

But #1 has that GREAT RH split and 72 is a good power number, too.  Nice contact and great speed.  #1's your guy.

Better question might be how likely are they to hit those numbers or get close?  How old are they right now?

Does one have a low durability (which will limit games played) or a cruddy health number?  Those things would play in an evaluation.

Both are good, though.  All things being equal...I would take #1  But if one has a low durability # (or crappy health) and if #2 has a very high durability...that might change my mind.

Age, durability, health...what do they look like?.

Those are the projections, correct?

#1:  My 3B/RF has a durability of 76 (which is probably reasonable for #1 to reach, I imagine).  He gets about 570-580 PA's each year.  All of that at 99-100% ( I sit him after one game at 99%, usually).

If #1 maxed out at 73 or so..and #2 hit 83...There's a difference in PA's you'll get out of them.

But all things being equal...which was the original question.  I like #1.  but if they are both yours, you have a very nice RF AND a 3B coming up the pipeline.
