after the roster expansion that will start the ML service time wont it? I just dont want to get thier arb clocks started any sooner than i have too.

Yep, they start collecting days as soon as you bring em up. Demote them in the offseason and they won't receive a demotion penalty. As long as you do it before spring training starts is what I believe it used to be.
